       Robert W. Muir, Jr.

Mr. Muir has been President & CEO of Chase Industries since 2004 when we was recruited by Stonebridge Partners to manage the successful turn-around of Chase Industries, one of their portfolio companies, based in Cincinnati, OH.

Robert was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Communication Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of pole line hardware for the telecommunications industry. During his tenure as CEO, he more than quadrupled the company's revenue base over a 10 year period and generated one of the highest EBITDA profit margins among its peers in the industry before he successfully divested the business to Thomas & Betts Corporation in July 1997.

Mr. Muir's broad base of industry and business expertise is invaluable in providing strategic guidance. In addition to Diamond Communication Products, Mr. Muir has provided operating and M&A leadership to several other companies during his career including manufacturers of pultruded products, aluminum windows and doors, cable assembly products and specialized products for the electrical industry.

Robert received a B.A. Degree from Boston College in 1970 and his M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1975.
